Ambassador Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Portland Marathon Ambassador! We’re looking for passionate, well-connected runners to help represent this exciting and iconic event, and strengthen the connection between the Portland Marathon and the local running community. Being an ambassador is all about community, connection, and sharing your love for running and the Portland Marathon.

Ideal applicants are based in Portland or the surrounding area and are actively involved in the local running scene. Preference will be given to those who are affiliated with at least one local running club and enjoy engaging with fellow runners both in person and online.

Selected ambassadors will be expected to:
  • Promote the Portland Marathon monthly at their affiliated run club
  • Share the event regularly on their personal social media channels
In return, Portland Marathon Ambassadors will receive:
  • A free race entry to the distance of their choice
  • Exclusive Portland Marathon swag
  • The opportunity to earn cash back based on their promotional efforts
