Strong Mid-Race Surge and Consistent Finish Jaelin Rogers maintained impressive pacing throughout the 2025 Portland Marathon 10K. He progressively improved his speed during the middle segments, demonstrated by his significant leap from a 9:24 min/mile pace in the first two splits to an 8:00 min/mile for the fourth and fifth miles. This contributed to his advancement in the ranks, moving from 305th overall to 81st by the fourth mile. Although there was a slight reduction in pace during the final mile (8:41 min/mile), Jaelin secured a solid finish, establishing an average race pace of 8:40 min/mile over the full distance of 6.2 miles. He concluded with a time of 53:49 and placed 11th in the M19-24 division. Continuing to focus on maintaining an even pace across all splits could prove beneficial for future races.
