Steady Start, Finish Consistency Kaijen Wang completed the 2025 Portland Marathon with an overall time of 3:29:48, averaging an 8:00 min/mile pace over the 26.2-mile course. Kaijen showcased a strong start, hitting a swift pace of 7:24 min/mile by the 5th mile, and maintained solid mid-race performance. Optimally maintaining a pace in the middle sections, he was positioned in the top 20 within his age division (M45-49) for a portion of the race. His initial miles showed split paces between 7:26 and 7:31 min/mile. As the marathon progressed, Kaijen's pace naturally decelerated.
