Consistent Start with Strong Finish on the Horizon David maintained a consistent pace across the first half of the race, completing the first three miles with an average pace just above 11:30 min/mile. He started strong with identical splits of 11:30 for the first two miles and slightly slowed to a 11:37 split by mile three, where placement improved overall, moving up to 855th and 73rd in his division. However, miles four and five saw a considerable drop in pace to 21:57 min/mile. Notably, David regained some pace in the final stretch, finishing mile six in 12:24 min/mile. Overall, David completed the race in 1:33:17 with an average pace of 15:02 min/mile. In the division of M35-39, he secured 116th place. Encouragingly, his ability to pick up the pace towards the end suggests potential for refining his strategy for sustained pace throughout future races. Well done as part of the Nike Employee Team!
