Consistent Division Leader Arjun maintained a steady start with each mile until the 6th, consistently hitting a pace around 7:47 min/mile. The 8th mile marked a standout performance with the fastest split at 7:29 min/mile, where position improved significantly to 327 overall. Transitioning into the second half, from mile 13, Arjun's pace slightly declined. The final miles from 22 onwards saw a more noticeable slowdown, culminating in a finish at 3:39:47 with an overall pace of 8:23 min/mile. Despite facing challenges in later miles, Arjun consistently led the X25-29 division at each split. Maintaining consistency early on is commendable, and holding division leader status throughout signifies strong performance within that category. While this race shows some slowing over the latter stages compared to previous marathons, particularly from the previous best of 3:19:41, it's an excellent opportunity to analyze and adjust pacing strategies for future endeavors.
