Steady Start, Challenging Finish Juan's marathon journey began with consistent pacing. His early miles evidenced an impressive consistent split of 9:19 min/mile for the first two miles. By mile 4, Juan had settled into an 8:57 min/mile pace, as he progressed, showing significant improvement in his standings, moving from overall 1226 to 1055 by the 4th mile. His most notable improvement was between miles 6 and 8, where he achieved an 8:07 min/mile pace, peaking at 768th overall. In the latter part of the race, Juan's pace gradually decreased, with split times reaching 13:45 min/mile by mile 26. Despite this, he maintained a steadfast finish in his division. Juan completed the marathon with a time of 4:13:55, placing 956th among men and 202nd in the M25-29 division.
