Consistent Pacing with a Strong Finish James Chang from Eugene, OR participated in the 10K MindRX Group event in the 2025 Portland Marathon. Throughout the race, he maintained a consistent pacing strategy, completing his race in 1:06:32 with an average pace of 10:43 min/mile. Notably, James made significant progress during the fourth and fifth miles, achieving split times of 10:28, placing him fifth in his division during those segments. James' improvement in placement, particularly between the third and fifth mile, saw a jump from 12th to 5th in the M55-59 division, illustrating his mid-race determination. A notable dip occurred in the sixth mile with a split time of 11:06, but he completed the race with consistent pacing overall.
