His splits between Miles 1-20 revealed a steady performance with minor fluctuations, notable for a runner in the M50-54 division. The later miles introduced challenges, evident by a gradual deceleration post-Mile 21, where his pace rose to 10:02, eventually culminating in an 11:38 split at Mile 25.
