Consistent Speed with Strong Mid-Race Performance Casey Frey from Springfield, OR, demonstrated admirable consistency throughout the 2025 Portland Marathon 10K MindRX Group. Starting strong with a 7:27-minute mile, Casey maintained a consistent pace across the majority of the race. Notably, there was a remarkable increase in speed between miles 3 and 4, clocking a swift 7:16-minute mile. This contributed significantly to the overall performance, enhancing his standing among competitors. Finishing the 10K in a commendable 46:06 minutes at a 7:26-minute mile average pace, Casey secured 4th in his age division, M50-54.
