Consistent Pace with Division Lead Fluctuations Michael Magnussen of Mercer Island, WA, showcased a strong performance in the 2025 Portland Marathon's Half Marathon event. Finishing with an overall time of 1:30:56, Michael maintained an average pace of 6:56 min/mile over the 13.1-mile course. Notably, he exhibited steady pacing early on with a 6:29 min/mile in the first mile, positioning first in his division (M55-59). Throughout the race, Michael's pace varied slightly, peaking at a 7:17 min/mile by mile 12. Despite this, he managed to finish with a strong division position, capturing third place in the M55-59 category. He demonstrated resilience and consistency, remaining in the top three of his division across most of the splits.
